Your safety is our first priority
CoPlanner is built on a foundation of trust. Every decision we make — from who we hire as planners to how we store your data — is guided by one question: does this keep our travellers safer?
Our Commitment
Verified Planners
Every CoPlanner travel expert undergoes identity verification, background checks, and a structured onboarding programme before handling a single itinerary. We publish each planner's profile so you always know who's crafting your trip.
Data Privacy
Your personal information is encrypted at rest and in transit. We collect only what's needed to build your itinerary, never sell your data, and comply fully with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023.
Secure Payments
All transactions are processed by Razorpay, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified gateway. CoPlanner never stores card numbers or bank credentials. Every checkout is protected by 3D Secure authentication.
24/7 Support
Travel doesn't follow business hours, and neither do we. Our emergency support line is available around the clock for travellers who need urgent assistance while on the road anywhere in India.
Travel Smart
Safety tips for travelling in India
Get a local SIM on arrival
A local SIM (Airtel, Jio, or BSNL) gives you reliable data and a local number. Carry your passport — it's required for SIM registration at the airport or any operator store.
Keep copies of key documents
Store digital photos of your passport, visa, and travel insurance on cloud storage. Email them to yourself as a backup. Leave a physical copy with someone at home.
Use app-based transport
Ola and Uber operate in most Indian cities and show fare estimates upfront. For autos and local taxis, agree on a fare before you start the journey or insist the meter is used.
Carry travel insurance
Medical care in India can be excellent but costs can be unpredictable without coverage. Ensure your policy covers emergency evacuation, hospitalisation, and trip cancellation.
Drink bottled or filtered water
Tap water is generally not safe to drink. Stick to sealed bottled water (check the cap is intact) or use a trusted water purifier. Most hotels provide complimentary filtered water.
Share your itinerary with someone
Before you set off each day, drop your day plan — accommodation address, activity location, estimated return time — to a trusted contact at home or in your group.
